LESLEY and STEVE WELCOME YOU TO WOODLANDS
Welcome to Woodlands and thank you for booking with us. We hope you enjoy your stay and all the wonderful scenery that Exmoor has to offer, even during these very difficult and trying times.
We are naturally casual and informal people but are nonetheless very concerned that every caution is taken to protect our guests from Covid-19 during their stay.
That said, please make yourselves at home and relax!
WIFI is hi-speed throughout the house.
Network Name: Woodlands
Access Code : Exmoor 2015
Fire Precautions
Fire safety information is displayed on the wall in your bedroom.
There are two fire escapes -
(1) Ground Floor MAIN FRONT DOOR
(2) 2nd Floor REAR FIRE DOOR EXIT to Lynway (follow directions).
If you have any questions regarding your room or our facilities please ask us as soon as possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The Guest lounge located on the ground floor is a peaceful room in which to relax.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the mornings between 08-30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m in the ground floor dining room. Please only use the table we have assigned to you during your stay. Your table will have your room number clearly displayed upon it.
A full (laminated) breakfast menu is located on the table under your TV.
Would you please let us know what you would like for breakfast by 9pm the night before by sending us either an email (info@woodlandsguesthouse.co.uk) or a Facebook Message (Facebook page: Woodlands Guest House) via Messenger.
The various breakfast choices are number coded (rather like a Chinese takeaway menu) so you only need quote numbers. Any variations you would specifically like will have to be spelt out to us please.

Keys (Room and House)
Please attach the front door key from self check-in to the bedroom key ring located on the bedside table when you first enter your room to ensure you always have a full set of keys to use during your stay.
Please remember to always take your room keys with you when you leave the house
When you check out at the end of your stay, please leave your set of keys on the surface under your TV.
Access to the LYNWAY (footpath to Lynton at rear of House)
The Lynway is a useful pathway to walk to Lynton without having to use the main road. Access to the Lynway may be gained via the 2nd Floor Fire Escape door.
If you are exiting the house through the 2nd Floor Fire Escape, please ensure shuts securely behind you (for security reasons).
The Lynway is lit at night and considered quite safe to use. We would recommend taking a torch. To open this Fire Door in order to enter the house from the Lynway you will require the House Front door key (a common key and the larger key of the two keys on your keyring).
Please ensure the Fire door closes behind you once you are back in the house.
In the event you return once it has become dark outside, the 2nd floor hallway lights will automatically come on and go off - there are no light switches.
